Off-The-Grid Architects, LLC began when former co-workers recognized that their
complementary skills could create the perfect design partnership to provide architecture and space planning design services. Our principals have a wide range of experience and skills, including high-end residential work, cutting-edge commercial design, and BIM rendering. Enthusiastic and personable, our team not only brings considerable talent and experience to each project, but we recognize the importance of listening to and communicating with our clients throughout the entire design process.

Patricia Fantuzzi-Welbourn is a seasoned professional in the Architectural and Interior Design industry. She began her career working primarily in corporate design for several award-winning Boston firms; worked overseas in Italy, and oversaw a yearlong hospital and hotel project in Scotland.
With Off-The-Grid, Patricia has continued with commercial office, restaurant and mixed-use projects, with a particular focus on high-end residential projects where she designs new homes, additions, and interior renovations. Having participated in the redesign of approximately 150,000 square feet of combined commercial and residential projects, has given her a true understanding of the process as well as how to manage clients' stresses throughout construction. Patricia brings her significant design knowledge as well as her varied life experiences to each and every project.
Patricia holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and an Interior Design degree from Drexel University. She is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a Member of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA).

* Full-service space layouts, interior and exterior wall elevations, building details, and interior finishes and furnishings as commissioned by client.
Test-Fit Studies
* Take program requirements and configure within the space to see how things can function best.
Existing Conditions & Surveys Documentation
* Make a site visit to take measurements of existing building and transfer that information into a graphic annotated drawing to describe existing conditions.
Project Management
Owner's Representation
* Make site visits and document how the work is progressing with written and visual reports that can be handed over to the bank for release of funds to the contractor.
Branding Services / Graphic Art
* Graphic design and company image development. Also, computer-created images that can be turned into graphic wallpaper and/or wall hangings.
(BIM) Building Information Modeling
3D Visualization – Renderings & Animations
* BIM Modeling refers to 3D interactive drawings to help our clients understand and visualize how a project will look when complete.
Residential & Corporate Furniture Selection & Coordination
* Specification of furniture, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, appliances and equipment for our residential and corporate clients.

Because this was a remodel there were some limitations, particularly from the street view of the house. That actually became a strength because seeing the house from the outside does not give any clue of what the interior looks like. We love the element of surprise as our guests enter the house and as we enter from the garage. We believe that when you love your home more everyday then the result we achieved was a huge success. Clean, yet, warm. Great use of space and projection of scale. I could go on, but in conclusion, Pat and Carlos utilized their talent and listened to what we wanted. A beautiful combination
